Operational Cost Management – Software Services & Tools
Zyom develops and deploys enterprise software solutions that reduce total operational

a.) Zyom software available on-demand that extends the capabilities of existing enterprise software systems (such as ERP , PDM , Data warehouse), to provide better control of total operational Costs. Zyom software complements existing systems and augments current cost management processes. It plugs gaps that exist due to data residing in disparate systems, different desktops and organizations, and enables Lifecycle Cost Management processes.

- Manage & Control total lifecycle cost of products - With geographically dispersed products teams and global supply chains, cost information is not as readily available to all the key process owners and stakeholders as before. This provides Operations and cost management teams a means to access, aggregate and model all cost information related to products at any stage in their lifecycle. This results in obtaining a true picture of total product and related operational costs. By tracking and analyzing total cost across the lifecycle and improved collaboration within the enterprise and across partners, the tool provides critical insights to managers that can be used to capture cost reduction opportunities and better focus the product cost improvement efforts.
- Coordinate supply across extended supply chain - This helps minimize unplanned shortages throughout the lifecycle of products - whether the products are early builds / prototypes or products in volume production. Using these tools product makers can reach into the supply chain operations of their
CMs and get better visibility. This prevents unplanned shortages and related costs - such as expediting costs and cost of lost sales.
- Assess and optimize inventory liability - This
allows Materials managers to proactively analyze planned changes in
product lifecycles - such as ECOs , EOL and product transitions to
assess the overall inventory liability. Operations managers can then
work across functions - such as Marketing and Finance - and conduct
‘what-if’ analysis to arrive at decisions that optimizes inventory
liability.
- Collaborate & manage new product supply chain - Enables cross-functional product launch team overcome the hurdles of cross-functional product launch planning and execution.
